Stephanie Su

A former collegiate swimmer at UCLA, Stephanie brings elite athletic experience to Aquatic Sports Performance. Holding a bachelor's degree in Biology from UCLA, she is also a certified nursing assistant and a former UCLA swimming camp instructor.

She is also a co-author of a research paper titled "An Exercise Immune Fitness Test to Unravel Disease Mechanisms—A Proof-of-Concept Heart Failure Study," published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine, which studied how gene expression influences VO2 max levels in healthy populations versus individuals with heart failure during exercise.

Stephanie completed an internship at Aquatic Sports Performance, where she developed her coaching skills and gained valuable insights into athlete development.

High School Accomplishments:

  • 4x Trinity League champion in the 500 Freestyle
  • Trinity League record holder in the 500 Freestyle
  • 4x CIF SS/State finalist
  • Mater Dei High School record holder in the 500 Freestyle, 200 Free Relay, and 400 Free Relay

  • 2x Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll honoree
  • 2020-21 CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention
  • 4th place finish in the 1650 at the 2021 Pac-12 Championships
