Remote Training
What is remote individualized coaching?
It lets you follow an ASP strength and mobility program from anywhere in the world. Your coach designs a program specific to your goals, physical abilities, and training schedule, then updates it over time based on how you're responding.
How do I get started with remote coaching?
Just complete the form at asp.training/remote/individual. From there, we'll learn about your goals and get your coach building your program.
What equipment do I need for remote coaching?
Whatever you have. Your coach builds the program around your actual setup, whether that's a full gym or just a few dumbbells and bands. You tell us what you have access to, and the program is designed to fit it.
How often will I train?
Remote programs are capped at 3 sessions per week. More than that usually adds fatigue without improving results. Your frequency can also flex from 0 to 3 sessions a week depending on where you are in your season.
How involved is my coach, and how often does my program change?
Your program is updated twice a week based on your feedback, and your coach checks in and adjusts it weekly. You log your workouts in the TrainHeroic app, and your coach uses that to fine-tune what comes next.
What sports do you coach remotely?
All of them. ASP specializes in aquatic athletes like swimmers and water polo players, but our coaches work with athletes across every sport.
Is there a minimum age for remote coaching?
Remote coaching is for athletes 12 and older (a parent or guardian completes the details for minors). For athletes aged 7 to 11, we recommend in-person training rather than remote.
Can I cancel my remote membership?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. Just send us a message and we'll take care of it.
Which app do I use?
For now, both remote coaching and digital programs run through the TrainHeroic app. After you're set up, we'll email you a code to access your program in the app.
